Falcon Aviation
Services (FAS) was formed in 2006 under the initiative
of HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, with the prime
objective of filling the gaps in the local Aviation Market through the
provision of innovative products and services. With its main operating
base at Al Bateen Executive Airport, the premier VIP airport in
the UAE and situated only 10km from the City Centre of Abu Dhabi, FAS is
ideally located for Operators and Passengers alike. FAS are committed
to delivering the highest level of aviation services that establish
benchmark standards in terms of Safety, Quality and Customer Service
Worldwide.
We
have acquired an initial fleet investment of over USD$69 million,
consists of 18 helicopters with 3 new Gulfstream 450 corporate jet set.
The fleet of helicopters are assigned for various roles: corporate
shuttles, tourism, VIP charter and search and rescue services (SAR). In
addition, FAS has employed a number of former UAE Armed Forces staff to
provide additional support to the SAR operations. It is based in Abu
Dhabi, and its main operating base is Bateen Airport. Falcon Aviation
Services has over 300 staff members
The FAS helicopter
and corporate jet fleet offer a diverse range of capability,
performance and comfort to satisfy every customer’s requirement. As a
result of our strategic vision and innovative products and
services, FAS is one of the most successful corporate jet and helicopter
service providers in the UAE and GCC region. FAS are also a founding
board member of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA)
and are an authorised Service Centre for Embraer and Eurocopter.
The
Company’s Aviation Department actively pursues new business
opportunities worldwide due to new projects in the Aviation Industry. In
an average month, 25,000 passengers and 362,000 kgs. of freight are
transferred to and from offshore areas. In addition, over 11,000
passengers are moved between various locations offshore. Sustaining
these rates has required a high degree of dedication, commitment and
professionalism on the part of the pilots, engineers and supporting
staff required in the company.
