LOGBOOK SUMMARY:

This aircraft was one of 200 delivered to the Navy during WW-II. In '46 it was converted to a civilian model. In 1995, a ground up restoration was performed returning it to a NH-1 Instrument Trainer. A zero TSO R985 was installed. Parts and components that were new include: all fuselage wood, all aluminium, engine fire wall and dishpan. all fabric (dacron), electrical system (including wiring), soundproofing, windows and windshield, all control cables and pulleys, all AN hardware and fittings, all plumbing (including hoses, lines and fittings), all internal and external lighting. Overhauled components include: fuselage and emgennage, engine, prop, accessories, radios, instruments, landing gear, wheels and brakes.

All work according to Navy Tech Manual specs unless doing so would compromise safety or jeoprodized the airplanes standard airworthiness certificate. Over 4000 hours of labor utiolzed.

EXTERIOR:

The aircraft is painted military yellow with airforce markings. Rating: 6 or 7.

INTERIOR:

Standard military. Clean and without frays. Rating: 6 or 7. Original instrument panel. Additional back seat instrument training station is included although currentl;y not in the airplane.

AVIONICS:

Comm with flipflop. Transponder. No navigation equipment.


REMARKS:

The aircraft was a hanger queen for a number of years. Subsequent to early 2004, all systems and squawks have been attended to (List on request).
