Museums and collectors, here is an excellent example of the 1929 Curtiss Robin C-1. This historic aircraft is close to original and ready to be flown to its new home. Here is a chance to actually own a piece of aviation history from early in the last century.

When the aircraft was restored, the original 165 Hp Curtiss Challenger engine could not be salvaged. The 220 Hp Continental engine was installed at that time.

I have inspected this aircraft and records myself. The above histroy was built based on copies of CAA documentation concerning ownership tranfers and re-registration documents. This is an old, very original airplane and a great find for the collector or museum wishing to own a civil aircraft of a bygone era. This is an asset in the owners retirement program. He is not in a position to donate it.
